01 - 02 - 01 - 10 - II Samuel - Commentary on the Book of II Samuel
Commentary on the book of II Samuel
Fr. Tadros Y. Malaty
As this book in the Hebrew origin, is complementary to the first book of Samuel, we ask the reader to refer to the introduction of that book.
According to the Jewish tradition, the authors of this book are the prophets Nathan and Gad, beside some of those who were raised in the school of the prophets, founded by the prophet Samuel. In the Septuagint version, it is called “The second Kingdom book”.
